The Ready2Kick timetable report
Saturday at 9am: when Singapore's kids play football
What 671 listed weekly sessions from 39 academies reveal about training times, and which days give your family the most choice.

Every academy in Singapore publishes its timetable in its own way: a PDF here, a booking page there, a table on Instagram. Ready2Kick gathers those timetables so parents can search by their child's age, day and area. Putting them side by side answers a question no single academy's website can: if your child can only play on certain days, how much choice do you actually have?
This is a picture of published training timetables. It shows when sessions are listed, not how many children attend or how many places are free.

Saturday gives you the most choice
Saturday alone has 281 listed sessions, 42% of the week. That is more than Monday to Friday put together (262). The busiest stretch of the week is Saturday from 8am to 11am: 153 sessions start then, run by 25 different academies. Saturday at 9:00 and Saturday at 10:00 are the two most common start times of the week, with about 40 sessions each.
Sessions per day
On weekdays, football starts after school
The empty top half of the chart is simply the school day. Children are in class until mid-afternoon, so academies don't run sessions on weekday mornings or early afternoons. What's left is a short window between the end of school and dinner.
Of the 262 weekday sessions, 261 have a published start time. 254 of those start between 4pm and 7pm, 3 start before 4pm and 4 start at 7pm or later. 5pm is the most common exact start time of the week: 134 sessions across all seven days start at 5:00 sharp. Add the ones starting at 5:15, 5:30 and so on, and the 5pm hour holds 210, the darkest row on the chart.
Monday and Tuesday have the fewest sessions, 43 and 45. If those are the only days that work for your family, you'll have fewer academies to choose from. Wednesday is the weekday with the most choice.
Sunday has half of Saturday's choice
Sunday has 128 listed sessions, less than half of Saturday's. Most of them are in the morning. Only 35 Sunday sessions start after midday, compared with 112 on a Saturday afternoon. If your weekend mornings are taken, Saturday afternoon gives you far more to choose from.
Where you live changes your week
Central Singapore has plenty of weekday choice. Most other regions don't. In the timetables we found, the East has just 4 Sunday sessions and the whole North has 8 weekday sessions.

Sessions by region
| Region | All week | Mon–Fri | Saturday + Sunday | Sunday only |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Central | 375 | 171 | 204 | 62 |
| West | 88 | 20 | 68 | 25 |
| North-East | 88 | 26 | 62 | 22 |
| East | 73 | 37 | 36 | 4 |
| North | 43 | 8 | 35 | 15 |
If those days are fixed for your family, you may need to widen your search beyond your region.

Choosing your days
- Saturday morning has the most choice. If your child is free then, you can compare the widest range of academies and venues.
- Plan weekdays around 5pm. Almost every weekday session starts between 4pm and 7pm, after school. Check the travel time from school to the venue, especially on CCA days.
- For under-5s, think weekends. 52 of the 83 sessions for children aged 5 and under are on Saturday or Sunday.
- Expect 60 or 90 minutes. 284 sessions run for an hour and 236 for an hour and a half.
- Outside Central, check the day first. In the East and North, the day you can do narrows your options more than anything else.

How we counted
We counted the regular weekly sessions that 39 academies publish on their own websites, checked between 1 and 6 October 2026. Another 8 academies we list don't publish a timetable, and some clubs aren't listed yet, so they're not included. Invite-only squads and sessions that have ended are left out.
A session here is one listed training slot, usually one age group at one venue at one time. The counts show how much is on offer, not how full sessions are or how many children play. Timetables change every term, so these numbers are a snapshot of October 2026.
